A Brief Review on DC’s Justice League Dark: Apokolips War-By Sourav Putatunda

So this is basically an animated movie of DC Universe, in simple words it can be said this movie is just a masterpiece, if the story of this movie is ever being implemented in any of the upcoming DC movies or DCEU movies then it will just smash the story of many marvel movies it can be said this movie gave a perfect ending to the DCAU (DC Animated Universe) which started from the Flashpoint paradox. For DC fans this movie is a gift for them, in other hand it can be assumed that what vision director Zack Snyder have thought for the future DCEU, only fans can understand the similarities between this movie and the Zack Snyder storytelling can be assumed. I will rate this movie 8/10.

Strong Recommendation: Those who don’t read comics or those who don’t have any idea about flashpoint crisis etc and obviously those who thinks animated movies should be funny type…..i strongly recommend them please go and watch Noddy or shinchan.

Now I want to explain the movie a little bit.

1. Superman addresses the JL members  

The movie start with the scene   Superman addressing the Justice league members that a danger is coming from the planet Apokolips(Home of Darkseid) so the team decides to take a fight on the planet Apokolips.

 

2. JL members head towards Apokolips 

So the team members heads towards Apokolips to take down Darkseid, but as soon they reached Apokolips they faced with the parademons the army of DarkseId…..now someone think that in the previous movies JL team have fight with those parademons but now why the JL team is depressed while seeing them. Here is the  twist, Darkseid have merged the Doomsday’s DNA with those parademons so the parademons is enough strong and brutal than the previous versions.  

3. Earth is now being destroyed and torned apart

Now the movie scene skips directly into 2 years later where the earth has been totally destroyed by the Darkseid’s army and there are no protectors to save the earth from it.

 

4. Superman and Raven meets with John Constantine 

Superman and Raven meets with Constantine for taking help to defeat darkseid and he clarifies that how the JL team is being and massacred by the army of Darkseid in the planet apokolips, Superman have been injected with liquid kryptonite inside his body now he is no more the strongest man in the earth, even he says that batman is now being controlled by darkseid and now he works according to his command…..the whole JL has been sabotaged and almost got finished so if there is a little hope then we can take darkseid down.

 5. Superman,Constantine,Raven,Damian Wayne meets with suicide squad team with the help of LOIS

So superman, Constantine & Raven, Damian team up with the suicide squad to take a fight against the darkseid. Now Lois says that there are numbers of towers In the various part of the world by which darkseid is draining all the earth’s magma. So their primary task will be to take down all the towers with the help of the left over superheroes who are scattered around the world and Lois says that Lex tower has the access for going to apokolips by the “Boom Tube”. 

 

6. Team of left over superheroes begins the first initiative to take down Darkseid regime. 

Many left over superheroes start attacking the towers which is used to drain the earth’s magma, many died while fighting the army of Darkseid, on the other hand team superman including suicide squad get success while capturing the Lex tower .

  

   

7. Superman, Raven, Constantine, Damian heads towards apokolips with the help of Lex Luthor.

After capturing the Lex tower team superman take helps from Luthor and then superman including Constantine, raven & damian heads towards the apokolips through boom tube and other members stay at the earth for protecting the earth.

 

8. Team Superman takes the fight with the other members of Justice league who has become the slave of darkseid by his Anti-Life equation.

  

9. Trigon is being released by the raven with the help of Constantine.

 

10. Darkseid is being defeated 

So the darkseid is being defeated by the justice league and he is being teleported to an another dimension including trigon with the help of cyborg.

            

11. Another Flashpoint is being created

Whole Justice league team realise that there is nothing left in the earth, everything is finished so Constantine says flash to do a flashpoint and create a new timeline, flash runs to create an another flashpoint like he did previously during the flashpoint event.

   

     

   

 

And hence the universe which started from the flashpoint paradox it came to an epic end.
